1.A video assistant referee (VAR) is a member of the refereeing team with independent access to the images of the match broadcast.

2.The referee must always make a decision, i.e. the referee cannot omit a decision and then use VAR to make it; the decision to allow play to continue after an alleged infringement may be reviewed.

3. The initial decision made by the referee will not be modified unless the review of the play clearly shows that the decision constituted a clear and manifest error.

4. Only the referee can initiate a review; the VAR (and the other members of the refereeing team) can only recommend to the referee that it be carried out.

5. The referee always makes the final decision, either based on VAR information or after reviewing it on the field of play.

6. There is no time limit for the review process, as accuracy is more important than speed.

7. Players and coaching staff must not surround the referee or attempt to influence his choice to review a decision, the review process, or the final decision. 8. The referee must remain “visible” during the review process to ensure transparency.

9. If play continues after an incident which is subsequently reviewed, any disciplinary action taken or required after the incident will not be cancelled, even if the initial decision is reversed (except for a caution/expulsion for stopping a promising attack or failing). an obvious scoring opportunity).

10. If the game resumes after being stopped, the referee may not carry out a review except in cases of mistaken identity or a possible infraction punishable by expulsion for violent conduct, spitting, tiktok video download without watermark biting or making extremely offensive gestures, insulting , or humiliating.

11. The period of play that can be reviewed before and after an incident is determined by the Laws of the Game and the VAR Protocol.

12. Since VAR automatically "checks" all situations/decisions, there is no need for coaches or players to request a review.
