Mickey Mouse: The iconic character Mickey Mouse was originally named "Mortimer Mouse," but Walt Disney's wife suggested the name "Mickey" instead. Mickey Mouse made his first appearance in the animated short film "Steamboat Willie" in 1928, which was one of the first cartoons with synchronized sound.
Bugs Bunny: Bugs Bunny, the witty and mischievous rabbit, made his debut in 1940. His catchphrase, "What's up, Doc?" was inspired by the film "It Happened One Night" in which the main character used a similar phrase.
