That's very good Amy!!! Did they already sign the "sponsorcontract"?
I really like the flyer and I think that we should combine it with the brochure (very good job Marnix and Niya)
I have to look for a scanner for our logo, then we can add it as well.

i have go to the china town yesterday and today, and found some restaurauts and supermarkets, to see if they can be our sponsors, but unfortunately they all refused.
i am sorry! but i will try to look for some others.

Hi 1ES4

The PR Committe held a meeting today and here is what we came up with.

FOOD
We decided to have 3 sorts of sandwiches(60 sandwiches on the whole) that will resemble those in the canteen and will be prepared by us. Half of them will be with white bread and half of them with brown.

The ingredients for the sandwiches:

Chiken meat sandwich:chiken meat,lettuce,green pesto,the small delicious crispy things we don't know the Engish name for

Ham sandwich:ham,tomato,cucumber,egg,cabbage

Vegetarian sandwich: young cheese,lettuce,tomato cucumber

We will also have 4\sorts of 'hapjes'(you know the small pieces of food on a tooth-pick) the people can have during the performance,namely:

1)Cheese+olive
2)cherry tomato+mozarella
3)asparagus in ham
4)Chinese salted eggs

We will give muffins in the beginning of the event along with tea or coffee.

Maybe we should think of another type of sweets....

Maybe it is a good idea to put a mall piece of paper in front of every set of sandwiches,that mentions the ingrediants and also we can have small pieces of paper on the tooth-picks with funny quotations or mini dialogues ;)

We will try to get some supermarkets for sopnsors again and also "BLOKKER" for the plates and cups.

We will be prepared for 60 people although theer will be hardly 50 in my opinion.

Decoration:

We are very enthusiasitc about the idea of Shirley's father and we thik that if we have baloons,napkins and tablecloths in blue and yellow that will be enough.

Brochure:

Anjuli told me she sent the logo to Hanna and Marnix, so could you please work on it and send it to me by Monday evening because i want to go to 'Happy copy' and ask them for a discount. Before the next big meeting and i want to go there with a more or less ready version of the brochure.

Room:

There is a message on BB that theer has been a lot of fuss recently with students booking all sorth of things for the events so we need to hurry up and at leas decide for a room, which is very important for our committe because that way we will know how to present the food.

Hi everybody.

Today I went out with Ina and we bought some stuff for the project.We went to Blokker, Xenos and Hema. Here is the list of what we have:

3 tables for the sandwiches
2 big cups for the sandwihes (like those in the canteen)
2 tables for the coffee
4 jars for tea and coffee
2 hanging frames where we can put some flyers on
6 cups in yellow and blue we can use as vases for flowers
2 paks of some party thing that we can use for a divider
a pack of glue pens (for the posters)
a pack of sponge cloths tho clean the ables after the event

All this costed 60 Euros

We couldn't find the following things:
toothpicks with the European flags
hygienic gloves(small size)

If somebody has seen these somewhere, can you pls tell us where, so we can go and buy them.


I heard from Amy and Theresa today and they were at Hema so i think we will have some good news from them for the napkins, baloons and the cups and plates.
