You are...hehe.

I don't know. I think it's funny. The point is how to do it on a screen. May be two people from hour group would like to act in front of a video camera...

And another thing. What the second year students made in their event, didn't have much relation with the topic...

U ve got the point there vriendBreites GrinsenBreites Grinsenthe situation can be modified, the concrete idea here is ordering something from the internet in this case a bowl of pasta or can be changed whatver fits, and one acts as an online food company the other is the orderer, here the two actors are not named yet, as A, the other is Waiter (the food company) but as A received the ordered menu its not like what he thinks it will be, add something! good point! how we gonna do this? just acting it out, computer does not need to be far apart (the food company n the orderer)....

ps: where r the others?

for some reason i think we should use Royksopp - Eple for the performance

http://youtube.com/watch?v=EqKNme4sy2U

and I have spoken to Mr de Ruiter, my contact person, the head of the ICT department. He spoke today to aother haed of another department from our school, who said he could find someone -a teacher- to do the lecture. sounds a bit confusing maybe, but what it basically means is that we probably have a guestspeaker. also Anjuli told me today that her contact person, Tante Peddy could also provide us with a guestspeaker

freuendes Smilie

soon we will be drowning in guestspeakers. huray. Breites Grinsen

I am Marnix by the way. Not Niya.

Royksopp sounds better than the awful Konijntje thing. Isn't it a matter of the Program Committee to decide which track we will use Niya ?

In my opinion the 'konijntje' song is a brilliant piece of art

BUT

I have some good news. I just recieved an email from Mr IJsbrand Hoetjes (his name alone is great already) who is a teacher at Haagse Hogeschool in the department of public administration and government managment. He is interested in giving a lecture at our event ("lijkt me leuk!")

I have replied to him that I want to meet with him asap to discuss things. So keep your fingers crossed and we might have a guestspeaker... Lächeln

more good news peoplefreuendes Smilie

while you were all enjoying your free time and/or getting drunk, Amy and me went to Delft to meet with our friends from Genuince, a software company. I must say I was a little sceptical before I went but it turns out to be great. They have developed a web-based application for online meetings (eDialogue!) and they will give a workshop (2 actually) were we can use this.

All we have to do is provide some content that our attendants can discuss during the workshop. They will send four people at the day of the project to help us out with it.

I will post some more info on this tomorrow, because of course we need to prepare some stuff for this...

Prima!

Could they participate in the panel discussion? Razz - ällabätsch It sounds good.

I am checking all my cd's and mp3 music, but I have more than 100 cd's and I don't know how many mp3 songs so it will take me a little bit of time to find the perfect music for the performance.

And check your university e-mail. We already have our vocabulary building (or however is called) marks.

vriendjes!

here is some more information on the workshops and what needs to be done in preparation...

The company Amy introduced us to is called Genuince, they have developed a program (click!) for online meetings and brainstorming. We will use this program in our workshop.

The workshop will consist of a short introduction by the Genuince people, they will tell about their company (some promo-blabla of course) and then will explain about the program and how to use it. Then we will have a brainstorming session about certain topics, related to eDialogue obviously (see below). The program will come up with a Report at the end of the session containing all the input from the workshop. This report we may be able to use in the panel discussion, where maybe one of the participants can say things like: 'this and this was said on this issue during our workshop' etc.

What we need for out workshop is.

*LAPTOPS!! As many as possible. The people from Genuince can provide 7 or 8 laptops, I think we can get at least 8-10 more from our own class. So ask your nerd friends if you can borrow their laptop for a day. We will have about 40-50 people attending the workshop, so it would be ideal to have 2 or 3 people per laptop, which means we need around 15-20 laptops

*Content for the workshop. Two topics (two workshops) related to eDialogue. I think the topics should be very concrete, or even in the form of direct questions, because time is limited (and we have to keep in mind that they are Dutch Hebo studentsZwinkern).

*Two people who will host/present the workshops. For each workshop two people from Genuince will be present to give technical support, if necessary.

*The logo of Genuince will have to be on our brochure. They will send it to me next week.

On monday the 28th we will have a test with the people from Genuince to see if everything is possible technically. We will need some laptops then (not all of them yet).
