You probably have other things on your mind but I am quite unhappy about the ECS thing. We are supposed to do the assignments from the reader or from a book or whatever. But I don't think this is a supervision and I haven't actually been convinced that the school is guiding or helping us on this subject very much.
Are there others that have the same feeling?
And also about the presentations. I don't want to get the list in week 6 and be told that I have to do it next week. I think we were supposed to make it even earlier in week 5 or sth so everybody knows whan they are presenting, asessing and so on.
If some of you also have a problem with that we can ask Mies to write to Mrs vd Star and get some more clarity.
Thanks & groetjes
Niya

| I skipped more than 2 presentation skills classes and she has not given me any assignment, so I do not have any complain...hehe.
However, if I have to sign something, I will write my signature...above all, we are still a group. :)

| I havent really noticed anything from my ECS-guide (or whatever it is called). I have had one talk where she hadnt even read my motivational letter and she had no idea who I was.
Apart from that, I don't really have the feelin Ms van der Star is very involved with us in any way. For instance the last class when she was ill, she could have easily sent an email to Mies to let us known she wasnt coming. after all, we are her tutor-class...
The presentations I dont really care about that as long as I am not the first to do it in week 7, but since my last name starts with B I am probably fucked.
so go Mies/Niya! and fight this unjustice :freu: etc.

| Yes, presentations should be in alphabetical order...it's a non-written law...

| Great Niya,
Thanks for taking the initiative. It is something that our lovely " shake shake me if u need me" should be more concerned about us. Or if she doesnt give a Sh*** for us then at least she should do her work and tell us about the ECS things and about the presentations.
I totally agree what we should write her. I think " we should shake her" so that she notices we egist and she needs to do what she is payed for.
Thanks again Niya, and I think we should do something about this!

| Did she find out whether advice about professional education belongs to her field or not??? Maybe she doesn't know where she actually works.. My suggestion is that we should buy her 3 kg of crayon-pen-make-up, and maybe we dont have to do any assignments..
