Heute ist der 31. August 1998. Es ist im Moment 12 Uhr Mittags. Alle Schüler sind noch Zuhause und bereiten sich auf das Leben in Hogwarts vor. Sie packen ihre Sachen, gehen in die Winkelgasse um die restlichen Sachen zu besorgen oder treffen sich bereits mit ein paar Mitschülern. Das Wetter lässt ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig. Es sind 18°C draußen und es ist sehr regnersich.
