We are currently considering connecting a rejected traffic monetization system on our portal. In the documentation everything looks suspiciously simple, so a question came up: Does ReTarget really install with just one script tag? Is it truly enough to just paste a single JS script into the header or footer of the site to get everything running, or will we end up having to write a bunch of custom code to track events, configure DOM elements, and pass user data through the backend?

And one more technical detail: how does this single script behave with asynchronous loading (async/defer)? Does it cause main thread blocking, and does it negatively impact our overall speed metrics in Google PageSpeed Insights?
