I've been missing the random chat experience since Omegle shut down. Recently, I stumbled on a platform called omegla.live and gave it a try. Surprisingly, the design is clean, and connections load quickly without requiring an account.
One feature that caught my eye is the country filter. It actually worked for me—I got paired with people from Japan and Germany based on my preferences. Has anyone else tested that? Does it stay consistent?
Also, I'm curious how strong the moderation is. I haven’t run into anything weird yet, but I know these platforms can spiral quickly without proper control. Has anyone had to report a user on omegla.live? If so, how fast was the response?
Lastly, does anyone know how they keep bots off the site? The experience felt pretty organic so far, but I’d love to hear if it stays that way after longer use.
