The driving feel is legitimately special. That steering feedback, the way it rotates through corners, the balance it all just works. BMW wishes their current 3 Series felt this alive. And if you step up to the Quadrifoglio with that bonkers 505-hp V6? Forget about it. That thing is basically a supercar in sedan clothes.

The looks speak for themselves. Park it next to a C-Class or A4 and the Alfa Giulia just has presence. Long hood, perfect proportions, that aggressive front end. Inside it's pretty nice too, though we'll get to some issues there in a second.

Even the regular 280-hp turbo four sounds way better than it has any right to. It's punchy, it pulls hard, and it actually makes you smile on your commute.

Oh, and they basically throw money at you to lease these things. The deals can be pretty insane compared to what you'd pay for a comparable BMW.

What's Not So Great
Here's where things get dicey. Alfa's reliability is... well, it's not good. Electronics act weird, the infotainment freezes, transmissions have had issues. My buddy's been back to the dealer four times in a year. Some people have zero problems, others spend half their life at the service center. It's a gamble.

Speaking of dealers—good luck finding one. Unless you live in a major city, you might be driving an hour just to get an oil change. And when stuff breaks (notice I said "when" not "if"), you're stuck waiting for parts.

The tech inside feels about five years behind everyone else. Small screen, clunky menus, graphics that look outdated. It works, but you'll miss the slickness of iDrive or MBUX.
These things tank in value faster than you can say "depreciation." Great if you're buying used, terrible if you bought new.

And yeah, the interior has some genuinely cheap-feeling bits mixed in with the nice stuff. The rear seats are tight too—your adult friends won't thank you for long trips back there.
