| I’m currently looking into upgrading my kitchen and trying to figure out where people actually buy decent worktops these days. Not just big stores, but places where you can get something that lasts and doesn’t look worn out after a year. Any ideas where it’s better to look?

| Feels like there are too many options — showrooms, online stores, local suppliers — and it’s hard to tell which one is actually worth the time.

| From what I’ve seen, a lot of people end up going with more specialized suppliers instead of generic kitchen stores, especially when they want something more durable and easier to maintain. Materials like corian work surfaces are often chosen because they’re non-porous, easy to clean, and can be made to fit almost any kitchen layout without visible seams. The main thing is not just where you buy, but choosing a supplier that actually works with these materials regularly, since that affects both quality and installation in the long run.
