| I’m starting to lose faith in the whole window replacement industry in Toronto. Had two estimates so far, both with hidden costs that magically appeared after signing. I need a company that’s upfront with pricing and doesn’t play games. Any recommendations?

| Transparency in pricing is a huge deal. I’ve heard lots of stories like this from coworkers too. You really have to read the fine print nowadays.

| That’s exactly what drove me nuts when I first started researching window contractors. You think you’re getting a deal and suddenly there's an extra charge for everything. I finally found this list of https://windowtechcanada.ca/best-window-companies-in-toronto/ best window companies and noticed many of them emphasize clear, upfront quotes. The one I chose gave me a written breakdown before anything was signed, and even included possible changes due to weather delays—no surprises later. What I liked most was how they handled the project from consultation to final walkthrough. No bait-and-switch tactics, no unnecessary upselling. Their warranty terms were also clear and available in writing. The team was respectful of our space and worked efficiently, which made a stressful process a lot more manageable. Definitely worth looking into if you value transparency.
