| When you start looking for a designer job nearby, the first time you really get lost. There are too many ads, and half of them don't fit at all. I realized that without clear filters, you can spend hours flipping through jobs and find nothing.

| I have decided for myself to reduce the number of sites and not jump between them. Instead, I look at vacancies a couple of times a week, but carefully. Plus I try to keep my CV up to date so that I can respond immediately, rather than putting it off.

| When it comes to tailoring documents, I usually start by carefully reading the job description and highlighting the key skills and responsibilities. Then I adjust my resume bullet points to match those keywords while keeping my achievements clear. For cover letters, I reference specific aspects of the company or role to show genuine interest. Using a resource like jobssite.ca helps me keep track of openings and their requirements in one place. I also keep templates for roles with similar skill sets, so I only need minor tweaks for each application. This approach keeps things efficient while making each application feel personalized, increasing the chances of getting noticed. Over time, it’s made applying for multiple roles much less overwhelming.
