Our hallway has this narrow side window that gets smashed every time the kids play football inside despite a hundred warnings. Third replacement now and I'm done with standard panes that crack too easily. Thinking toughened bespoke glass cut exactly to the frame so it actually lasts. If you know a good supplier for custom home glass, please drop a name.

We had a similar problem in our hallway three panes gone in a year after the kids discovered indoor football! I finally stopped replacing ordinary glass and asked about toughened bespoke glazing cut to the existing frame. The difference was reassuring, especially for a narrow, awkward opening. If you’re around Uxbridge, I’d check glass repair Uxbridge and ask what safety glass they’d suggest for that location. Getting the measurements right is definitely worth it.
