When building websites or web applications, accessibility usually makes me think about things like screen readers, keyboard navigation, and readable text, but I recently started wondering about users who experience dizziness or balance-related problems. Some interface effects, scrolling behavior, animations, or rapidly changing visual elements could potentially make certain websites uncomfortable to use.
This made me look more closely at the Functional Impact of Vestibular Injury and how vestibular problems can affect everyday interaction with digital environments. For those working with ASP or web development, are there practical accessibility guidelines you follow for users who may be sensitive to motion or visual effects? I'd be interested in hearing what design choices have worked well without making the interface feel unnecessarily limited.
